My experience with Eli began with a phone call after a good friend recommended the 808 Series style wheels.  Eli's knowledge, honesty and prices won my business.  He quickly answered my question on offsets and fitment.   I was very satisfied with the information provided and what I obtained from the website.  I personally flew from New Orleans to San Diego after purchasing my Porsche 997 Carrera S and drove it to Los Angeles and witnessed the installation.  His staff was professional and great to talk with.  It was a comfortable experience and Eli was very friendly.  When I replaced my OEM Carrera S wheels with the 808 Series in Matte Black and yellow custom stripe, my Porsche looked like a different vehicle.  I've gotten a lot of compliments with the custom speed yellow stripe, which matches well with my yellow PCCBs. So after seeing the Victor Innsbrucks that fellow 6speeder MiamiC70 got from Discount Tire Direct, I ordered a set for myself albeit in 19 in. diameters. Unfortunately, one size was back ordered from Victor and after waiting for a month I reluctantly cancelled the order.

I then spoke to Wheel Dynamics. (No affiliation and yes, I am aware of the history but have read many more positive than negative reviews.) He didn't have the Victors either but had the 808 series wheels in stock. He mounted new Hankook tires and had them balanced and shipped the same day. The wheels and tires arrived without incident and after I removed all of the protective packaging I was relieved to find that the wheels and tires were perfect, no loose wheel weights, no missing valve stem caps, not even any dust or dirt from being shipped all the way across country. They were already inflated and ready to be bolted on. My only "complaint" was that he didn't have any black wheel bolts so I had to paint the ones he sent. Bumblebee can finally take flight! I spent a lot of time searching for OEM Fuchs wheels for my 1986 Porsche Carrera. I found the wheels on the Wheel Dynamics website. The wheels were in used but good condition, so Wheel Dynamics had them completely refinished (Fast Forward Wheels). They even had the center caps hand painted! It was easy dealing with Wheel Dynamics; they fully met my expectations for quality, price and delivery time. I must admit that I was a bit nervous making such a big purchase over the internet but Wheel Dynamics really delivered for me. I am 100% satisfied and highly recommend them.

Finally got around to trying the 808/Hancock combo at Infineon Raceway. Gotta tell you, extreme bang for the buck. Was able to outperform the 997's in the turns only to be caught in  the straights. I put a thousand plus miles on that tire/wheel setup that weekend, including some hard track miles and not even a hiccup. More compliments from passersby then I can count. Including the instructors at Jim Russell Racing School.

I've had a couple of bad experiences with getting tires mounted, including one where they really gouged up my nice wheels. With my latest set of concourse-quality wheels in hand, I began the search for a shop to mount them. None of the local shops I talked to inspired any confidence, so I began looking online, and discovered the "Corghi Artiglio Master". Watching videos of this machine in operation on youtube really convinced me that this was one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, so the search was on to find a shop that had such a machine--not easy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaoNegz9gAE

My search ended at Wheel Dynamics in Monterey Park, CA, where they have not only the Corghi magic machine, but also the latest Hunter GSP9700 RoadForce wheel balancer.

I arranged an appointment, and on arrival met the owner, Eli Sesma (drives a Cayenne Turbo S that has been tweaked into a giant killer), who gave me a quick tour around his shop, and introduced me to his staff. In addition to tires/wheels sales and service, they also have a trained Porsche technician for any required maintenance or service.

Eli invited me to watch while he mounted my new wheels, and it was a pleasure to see someone work with the level of care and precision he demonstrated. The Corghi machine truly does not ever touch the face of the wheel, so no need to be nervous that your new wheels are going to get any marks on them.

Then on to the RoadForce balancing act--this machine applies 1500 pounds of pressure to the tire via a large roller, while it analyzes any variations in the stiffness or road resistance of the tire, and calculates any needed compensatory weights.

All this work was done rather quickly, and I was back on the road home. My 993 has always seemed smooth to me, but never quite like it is now.

Bottom line, if you need tires, wheels, wheel refinishing, or routine service, and you are anywhere near this shop, I highly recommend it. They will treat you the way Porsche owners should be treated.

Yesterday, I personally unpacked the wheels. They were nicely packed as you described and there was no shipping damage to the boxes. The wheels look great and I am fully satisfied with the refinishing. The high speed spin checked out fine. I am fully satisfied with the wheels. Again, they look fine; I just want to double-check them. It will take a couple weeks to get the new tires and wheels mounted on my car. Once I mount them, I will be happy to put a picture on your photo gallery.

The packeges finally arrived today. The rims / tires look awsome! The car looks and drives some much better! The Michelin are a huge improvement both from ride comfort, noise and performance over the Continental which only had approx. 4,000 miles on them. And Eli despite what every body else have been telling me about the the size you suggested, I am happy that I trusted you. They fit very good. Please find attached some pictures. They are not the most glamorous and I will take additional ones within the next few days in a better background. I just could not wait to share those with you. Thanks again for the professional service!
